Your donation supports the many extracurricular activities and programs that make Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County so special. These programs include teacher appreciation, community engagement, resources for our athletic programs, field trips, enhancements to the fine arts program, and financial aid.
As a public charter school, Ascent Classical Academy receives funding through two primary sources: (1) public funding from the state of Colorado, and (2) private funding from donations and activity fees. Public funds support the essential day-to-day needs of our school such as books, classroom materials, and faculty/staff salaries. Unlike traditional district-run public schools, charter schools must pay for their facilities out of operating revenue and therefore have smaller margins. Donations to Ascent Classical Academy are what allow us to go the extra mile, providing our students with the opportunity to participate in excellent fine arts and athletics programs, build deep and abiding friendships, and spark imagination and wonder in their everyday lives.
Ascent Classical Academy Charter Schools, Inc is incorporated as a non-profit entity in the State of Colorado and is recognized as a 501(c)(3) entity by the IRS (EIN _________). As such, your gift qualifies as a charitable deduction for tax purposes to the extent the law permits.

Develop Joyful Learners
We believe that a Classical Education is an excellent education for every student. A good classical education focuses on academics, athletics, and the arts. Its aim is to develop the moral and intellectual skills, habits, and virtues upon which independent, responsible, and joyful lives are built. This is first and practically done by removing any financial barriers that could stand in the way of attending Ascent. Your donation will help us provide uniforms, lunches, and more to families in need. Developing joyful learners also requires building up our athletic, fine arts, and student life programs. While rigorous academic pursuits are central, a robust student life is critical to developing joyful learners.

We believe that a school’s true strength lies in the caliber of its teachers. Exceptional teachers create an atmosphere of intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm, fostering a love for learning among our students. We aim to create a culture of continuous learning.
