Who is Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County?

Ascent Classical Academy of Douglas County provides a classical, content-rich education in the liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue in an orderly and disciplined environment.

Who are we looking for?

A classical education depends on instructors who are experts in their academic fields—whether it be literature, history, sciences, mathematics, music, and more—rather than solely in general elementary or secondary teaching. These educators play a vital role in shaping the ethical and intellectual growth of their students, exemplifying a deep passion for their subjects and a commitment to sharing that enthusiasm. They collaborate in the quest for excellence and build a community where learners are inspired to advance in virtue, knowledge, and a sense of wonder. This is the environment we nurture at Ascent Classical Academy.
